Two bedrooms, one bathroom, 1,568 square feet, built around a wood stove and a view.

This is the A-frame we've called ours since 2012, and every part of it is built around one idea: bring the whole crew and still have room to breathe. The two bedrooms, one tucked into the loft, add up to three queens, two singles, and a couch that earns its keep after a long ski day, sleeping up to 8 total. The great room's wood stove is where everyone ends up, the kitchen is stocked for a full table, and the raised patio looks out toward Byers Peak over a private stand of aspens and pines. Small enough to feel like a cabin. Big enough for everyone you bring.

Tucked under the steep roofline, open to the great room below. This is the room the kids claim first.
